Super Salad! Take Your Salad Over the Top with Super Foods

A SALAD A DAY, KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY

Can we improve upon the simple salad?  YES!  In a great big way!

 

 

Greens are the most missing ingredient in the modern diet.  They are full of vitamin A, C, E & K.  Greens are a blood purifier and a liver detoxifier.  They are mandatory for life, as the chlorophyll in greens is the closest thing we've got to hemoglobin in our blood.   Drinking a glass of green juice in combination with coconut water, (fermented coconut water will be even better) is the closest we can come to giving ourselves an INSTANT BLOOD TRANSFUSION!!!  HOW COMPLETELY AMAZING IS MOTHER NATURE?

Ok, back to that salad....  By adding essential fatty acids in seeds and dressings we can make a salad really satisfying and great for our brain health too.  You can make your own super salad boosters by combining for example kelp flakes, chlorella and hemp seeds.  

Here are some examples of what I add to my salads and veggies:

kelp-thyroid protector and natural iodine source

dulse-thyroid protector and natural iodine source

hemp seeds-fantastic brain food & immune booster

chia seeds-great for the skin and connective tissues

tumeric-natures anti inflammatory

cinnamon-"poor mans insulin"  - add to anything to help bring down the blood sugar

Keep these on your table or lazy susan and add them to supercharge your salad, and my own salad toppers that I create (see above).

Pick up some little inexpensive shakers and have some fun with this!
