WHAT LIES HAVE YOU BEEN TELLING YOURSELF?
Here were my lies:
I’m big boned (when I was overweight)
I expect to gain about 10 pounds per year, every year
I’m not athletic
I don’t have the genetic ability to be fit
Acne runs in my family
I get sick with whatever comes my way
My new language:
I’m fit, healthy & strong
I expect to get better with every decade
We’re a family of movers
I have the lean body & toned body I’ve always craved
My skin is radiant
I rarely get sick, and when I do I know exactly what to do
**ON A PIECE OF PAPER, PLEASE WRITE DOWN THE LIES YOU HAVE BEEN TELLING YOURSELF...
**NOW REWRITE YOUR FUTURE, AND START LIVING IT TODAY~WRITE YOUR NEW LANGUAGE. EVERY TIME THOSE OLD WORDS SLIP OUT, REPLACE THEM IMMEDIATELY WITH YOUR NEW LANGUAGE.
This above technique works~but you must use it daily !!!! Focus on what you want with power and intensity, and results will follow.
You must begin to believe, before you can facilitate change. If you BELIEVE you can not lose weight, get healthy etc... then you can not. But you CAN DO ANYTHING YOU CAN ALLOW YOUR MIND TO BELIEVE!!!
WHAT YOU BELIEVE, YOU CAN ACHIEVE!
In high school, I was a size 8. In college a size 12. This summer I turn 43, and 3 babies later I’m a size 2. I’m looking more fit than I’ve ever looked my whole life!
Do I starve myself? NO
Am I deprived of food? NO
Do I hate the foods I eat? NO ~~ they make me feel amazing & I love them!
Yesterday I went bikini shopping and I actually liked the way I looked in the 3 way mirror, with all the bright lights! I’ve NEVER been able to say that before?
So what am I up to??
I eat a high raw foods diet. That means about 80-90% of my food is raw, or uncooked (less than 117 degrees). Some months, 100% of my food is raw. I juice my heart out. I get my protein from living sources like sprouts & wheat grass. Sometimes I indulge in raw desserts like keylime pie, banana cacao “ice cream”, raw cookies, & raw chocolate, just to name a few. I bless the food when I am unable to make the best choices. I forgive myself immediately when I make mistakes and I am 100% authentic.
I’ve also discovered a class called body pump, which I do at my local gym 3 days per week. Other days I hike, bike, roller blade etc. MY EXERCISE TIME IS SACRED! I will not miss my classes.
Here is a question that I’m often asked: “I feel good consuming a little meat, or dairy. Can I benefit from these techniques, and still continue to eat a little meat?”
The answer is overwhelmingly YES!!! Even Dr. Joseph Mercola states that he eats a high raw diet, and still eats a little kefir, eggs & meat. EVERYONE CAN BENEFIT BY THESE TECHNIQUES: more green leafy vegetables, sprouted, or living foods, wheat & barley grass, cultured vegetables, living juices. energy soups & super foods!!!! They’re magical for facilitating healing and wellness~!!! These techniques are used by the TOP HEALING CENTERS IN THE WORLD!!!
I plan my juices, and my raw meals because:
FAILING TO PLAN, IS PLANNING TO FAIL
So to answer the original question: Can you build muscles & get fit with vegetables?
You tell me!!!! Some of the top athletes in the world now are going vegan! WHY?
Because they can outperform the rest when competing on a vegan diet! Check out the book Thrive by award winning triathlete, Brendan Brazier. He is an amazing example of health!
Simply upping your intake of green leafy vegetables, sprouts and juices can take your health a loooooong way!
