Eat This, Not That!

EAT THIS, NOT THAT!  It is all so confusing!!!

Drink milk, don’t drink milk.  Eat meat, don’t eat meat.  Eat soy, don’t eat soy.  Eat your food cooked.  Eat your food raw. 

All of this confusion can really leave your head spinning!

If even the top experts in the country can’t agree, how can we possible figure this out for ourselves?

Have you ever noticed that one person can do REALLY WELL on one diet, say a meat-eating diet, and another person will do well, or THRIVE on a plant based vegan or vegetarian diet? 

The reason is because what we eat is not a one size fits all!

If the perfect diet for everyone was out there, we would all have found it, and we would all be in perfect health!  In perfect health is something that our country is NOT!  If fact, we as a nation are in the worst health we have ever been in.

It is all about bio-individuality!  No two people are the same. When I am working with someone one on one, I need to know their genetic heritage, their blood type, what is going on with their health, what they are currently eating, and I need them to keep a food, mood journal.

You can’t keep eating the same food you’ve been eating all your life, and expect things to turn out differently...

If you want different results,

You have to start doing things differently!

I’m a mother of 3 great kids.  I got into nutrition because I could see the health of our nation’s kids declining FAST. Being raised in Minnesota farm country, the Westin A. Price diet was something that really resonated with me.  It made sense to me!  I could eat the way that I grew up, I just had to make sure that I was eating clean, ethically raised, organic foods with the seasons. If I could just get everyone I worked with to eat food without a bar code, I would consider my career a booming success!   That way of living still resonates with me but it doesn’t work for me personally anymore. With the amount of toxins and chemicals in the current food supply, I prefer people seek only the highest quality foods to feed their family.  To stay well in today’s society, we have to go beyond this to additional advanced techniques. 

Further into my career, my clients were having much deeper health issues such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease etc.  Getting people back to a state of health by eating real, clean food at this point was just not enough.  Arg.

Be pro-active!
