Learn relaxation techniques and ways to calm yourself and de-stress in the upcoming Stress Reduction Workshop at National Integrated Health Associates.

Carol Richardson MPH, M.Div., will be conducting a three-hour workshop which will begin by leading participants into a deeply relaxed state by a variety of methods.  Experiencing deep relaxation is so essential for enjoying life that we will begin with gentle, guided stretching and relaxing exercises. 

Participants will learn 10 tips and tools to help manage stress on a daily basis including:

  • gentle stretches
  • guided meditations
  • visualizations
  • centering and grounding exercises
  • mindfulness
  • breath awareness

We will also learn about our own subtle energy, such as emotional energy, and how to shift ourselves from negative mental states to positive mental states to have more positive energy for life. It is essential for wellness to learn how to relax on a daily basis.

Practical daily life approaches to dealing with stress will also be discussed.  

Participants will gain an understanding of how to be in charge of their own thoughts to shift into a relaxed state of being naturally.  Understanding one’s own thought processes can be key to learning to de-stress, along with mindfulness and breath awareness.  Information will be provided in practical ways that enable everyone to participate.  Techniques will include physical movement, mindfulness,
