Chia seeds are awesome additions to anyone’s diet. You can drink them, eat them straight from the bag, bake with them, sprinkle them on food, put them in smoothies and even make pudding with them!

These tiny seeds pack a powerful punch full of Omega 3 fatty acids which turns down the inflammation in our bodies. They are high in fiber and chia seeds help to control blood sugar levels.

Chia seeds are not typically thought of as part of the American diet. We all know that the SAD or Standard American Diet desperately needs some healthier options and chia seeds are a great choice. They are widely available at health food stores and grocery stores everywhere.
